Aw honey i know what that's like. I have 4 children and I remember each and everyone of their first days. I actually folowed the bus and went to the school to take pictures of them getting off that bus. I came home and cried my eyes out. Oh how I missed them. Would they be ok? Could they eat lunch without me? What about if they had to go to the bathroom? Who would help them like I do? It is scary and very normal to feel like you do. I was their whole world. I wiped their nose and I didn't want anyone to do that for me. Wait til they start bringing home their works of art, you won't have enough room on the fridge. My children are now 20, 18, 14, 10 and I still put their work on the fridge. My son is going to be a junior in college. His good grades get put on there. My daughter just graduated high school and I have been numb for about 2 months. Just keep crying. How could this be? I just put her on that bus. It is part of out jobs as moms to give them the foundation to be good people. We let go a little at a time, until they are ready to fly on their own. Your journey has just begun and it is wonderful. Our lives change so many times with our kids. Believe me she will have a great time. She will tell you about her day, and her new friends. It will be great. It won't be easy mama but you will get through it. When they get off that bus and they are in your arms again wow what a feeling. God bless you and good luck to your daughter on he first day of school. What a wonderful journey she is about to embark. Enjoy every moment for it will pass way too quickly. I'm still crying!! And i am also very, very proud of my kids and myself for turning out wonderful young people.
