my mom had a dog that was dying of cancer when i got my lexi and trust me dont feel bad for wanting new dog cause yours will soon be passing the sooner you get a new puppy the healing process for you will start and a new puppy will keep u busy.and if your dog that is dying is in alot of pain please dont hold on any longer .my momspoodle got to the point where she could not stand up to use the bathroom and we knew it was time to let go.buddy knows you love him and trust me his feelings will not be hurt he just might be entertained by a new furball.
