I wasn't aware that the "baby doll" look wasn't in the standard. It seems like Yorkies are looking a lot different from what they looked like, even just 20 years ago. I guess I liked the compact, stocky body type the best. And 4 pounds or under isn't necessarily sickly. My puppy is 4 pounds and she's healthy. Yes, she I do have to watch her if she gets sick, because she can get dehydrated easily. And since she's thin, she doesn't have a lot of fat to work with. But she's at a healthy weight and eating well, so I guess that's just her body type. Ever since I switched her from Royal Canin to Innova, she eats a lot better and did increase in weight.

But overall, she's healthy. For me, size is a bit more important because I do travel, not a whole lot, but a few times a year and take my baby with me and I would do this of course with the new puppy.
