No calcium supplements. If you gave calcium supplement (Meaning calcium pet tabs) during gestatin the body says "Hey whou should I release any calcium into the blood stream as I'm getting it from an outside wource. I think I'll just shut down and not do any work." Then the puppies are born, more calcium is needed for milk and the bod is not producing it on it's own. All of sudden Eclampsia results. Don't give calcium pills. A Pet Tab is Ok. Increase the food during the last three weeks of gestation.
