Samantha, who is almost 6 years, still shreds or eats paper, although not as much. She has given new meaning to "the dog ate my homework"!
She also would grab anything that dropped on the floor. I quit chasing her when I realized she thought it was a great game. Since then, she has learned to drop when I tell her to... well, most of the time. Sometimes she gets a treat and sometimes not, but she ALWAYS has to sit when she drops. I think of it as having a toddler in the house.
She did much better after she had obedience training. Now she mostly gets things for attention. Sometimes she will bring something and wave it at me when I'm reading or on the computer. Such a hoot!
