I agree that he could be on a better puppy food. I prefer Wellness, but other good brands include innova and solid gold. The wellness and solid gold you will be able to find at petco and the innova you need to go to a smaller pet store for.

As for the big belly it could be the food but it could also be worms. Have you taken him to the vet yet? If you haven't i'd bring a poop sample with you. He's due for his first distemper vaccine about now too. 8 weeks is the youngest they can get their first distemper combo vaccine.
He has had a couple shots, (I'm not sure what they mean) I plan to take him to the vet next weekend (that's when i get paid)

they are v-k9 DH2PP 3-4 weeks
Pyrantel pamoate disp. SA

I doubt its worms, he doesnt seem to have any issue popping or scratching him self. How would you know if he had that anyways?

They are prone to hypoglycemia the first 6 months of age because they have no fat storage. Have you thought about free feeding? This means having food in the bowl at all times, and allowing the puppy to eat whenever he's hungry. Best of luck, and we love to see puppy pictures!
I do let him free feed. I mentioned that in my first post, but its ok i might have said it differently.

Does anyone know what kinds of fruits he can eat? I would like to get him on a good diet.

Also when is a good time to start taking him outside to use the restroom? What about flee's? What can i do to prevent them?
