That is so funny because my Mom said the exact same thing. We were going to go to Petco and get some. I was afraid that it might burn his little "goodie" but I think if we do like you said and just put it on the sheath it won't burn. Or maybe rub some on the hair that is on the tip. I will go buy some and use it if he starts up again. Thanks for this idea, I wasn't completely sure about it until you brought it up too
