Does she come from a line of free whelpers I'm not familiar with the term free whelpers. I purchased her from someone who has bred her Yorkie twice. Since I consider a dog a lifetime committment I wanted to be sure a Yorkie would be the perfect dog for me, thus I met several breeders and their puppies prior to chosing one. She was very dedicated to the dogs and after meeting her and the puppy's parents several times prior to the purchase I was impressed with her care and concern for them.
Have all the necessary tests been performed on her and the stud. Bile Acids, hips and knees x-rayed, eyes and ears tested. Since I am now only considering the option of breeding her, I do not have information on the study, but I take it it's important to know if and when that time comes (thank you)
Are you willing to lose her and the litter? No, that's why I'm finding out from people who seem to be knowledgeable in the area of breeding Yorkies first before making such a decision. Why do you want to breed her? I'm considering breeding her because I would like another & by breeding her myself I would know a little bit more about what I would be getting.
Have you studied everything you can about breeding, genetics, whelping?Since I care very much for her and do not want to put her in harm's way, I've been studying as much as I can about breeding, genetics, whelping. I believe I am now at the point I've gained much information regarding breeding from reading & I am interesting in actually speaking to those that do breed them to extend my knowledge. I felt that was the next course to take as I do not wish to jump into this lightly.
The yorkie is not a breed you can breed pheno type to pheno type and know what you're going to get. | Thanks for trying to answer my questions. I appreciate it. |
