 possible future breeder

You seem very knowledge about breeding yorkies. I have a 7 mo/5 lb yorkie. She is my first yorkie and I have fallen in love with her. I was thinking about letting her have one litter at some point in the future but I have concerns regarding breeding, as I only want her to be safe and healthy. I have been told not to breed yorkies if they are 5 lbs or under. Per the weight charts she has been pretty much on track that she'll be six pounds when fully grown. What is your advice regarding safe weight/size for the potential mother to be? Thanks |
