Have you taken him to the vet for a health check since you bought him? I would do that immediately especially since you bought him from a pet store, which more than likely means he came from a puppy mill and who knows what he could or could not have.
The good thing is he is eating. I would highly recommend getting this pup to the vet to let them check him out to make sure he is 100% healthy. Red poo doesn't sound normal to me... unless he is eating red food? I don't know... have to look that one up.
