 First Time Concern
My wife and I just bought a yorktese puppy from a pet store about two weeks ago. I've had dogs before, but never cared for one on my own before. I've always had the knowledge and reassurance of another person. He's four months old. He's the best little dog you could ever ask for. He's active, but not too hyperactive and amazingly loving. I just adore him. My only concern is that for the past few days he's had a dry, warm nose. I honstly feel like a first time mother who wants to take her child to the doctor each time he/she hiccups, but I just rather be safe than sorry. He eats up the wet food we give him, but snacks on his dry food. I'm considering changing his dry food to see if maybe he's just not interested in the taste of it. The other day he pooped and it looks almost reddish. It's not happened since. If anyone can help me to be reassured that I'm just paranoid or give me advice on maybe something that might be wrong I'd grately appreciate it. Thank you so much! |
