little background about me..I'm a retired paramedic, seen it done it all until.....
A while back I went to a shelter to adopt a puppy as i didn't have a dog after my precious Booboo had died she was a pekapoo and i'd had her for 14 years and loved her like a baby.

I found a cute little furball and adopted him, mentioned he looked lethargic, they swore probably cause he'd been handled alot that day..i bought that story cause he was just such a cutie. took him home and after like two days all of a sudden it was like something i'd never seen before! and don't want to see again! I won't even describe it because it brings so much pain in the meory of it, he died right before my eyes with me on my cell phone crying and screaming to my hubby to get home as i did CPR on my baby. I called the animal shelter and told them they had parvo they acted uninterested and all i got as a response was ok.

A few months passed, i did clean my whole house with bleach after that..and a neighbor had pekinesse puppies and offered me one, Junior was so cute i couldn't resist, but then he started acting lethargic all of a sudden after he'd played in the backyard one day..i of coursed paniced rushed him to vet, yup he had parvo! cost me 500$ but he was saved!

here in Georgia the winters don't get cold enough to kill parvo and the vet said that it can live up to two years in the soil and thats where Junior caught it from, my own back yard!

I'm so sorry your having to go through this, it is like living a nightmare i know and will keep you and your babies in my prayers .
