I forgot to address the white gums -- they can be a sign of shock, loss of blood, anemia, dehydration, severe illness, among other things. That is usually the first thing the vet tells you to check when you think you have an emergency and that alone is enough to bring in a Yorkie as they are so small they can take a bad turn quickly.

I just noticed she signed off -- hope she found somewhere to take her Yorkie!
