you can also try a little onsie like you would put on a baby. i have seen people use these to cover there babies when they have surgery done on their babies to cover them up and they don't have to have a that awful collar on thier necks. Just a suggestion hon. I sure hope that he heals up. But I would see if you could find a different vet also. Some one that cares about yoru baby like you do.
