I am also working on a case of a missing Yorkie named Barry who belongs to a 81 yr old lady who lost him at the Superdome. She fell ill and a young girl fashioned a collar and leash from a bedsheet and tied Barry to a post outside the Superdome. The owner was taken away in an ambulance and that was the last time she saw Barry, and she desperately wants him back. She says Barry was one year old, almost all black, short hair and small. He may be a mix. If you see a Yorkie fitting that description on Petfinder up for adoption or with a rescue group please let me know. His owner just got out of the hospital and would so love to find her little Barry.

Actually everyone, please be on the look out for Katrina Yorkies in general because many rescue groups took them and have not registered them or their pictures in the Petfinder Katrina found pets section. More than any other breed, Yorkies seem to have been lost in the system after being rescued.
