I would give that alot of thought.”

“I don't want to rub salt into your wounds, but I think I remember you had some trouble paying for some of Stormy's medical care. I would wait until you are confident that you have the means to pay for at least one major medical emergency if you had to. Do you have pet insurance on the bully? I would focus on her and making sure she stays healthy and safe.”

“As far a Bull Terriers go if you want another small dog maybe you should get a miniature Bull Terrier as a playmate . I think that they get to be about 24lbs or so.”

Where in her post did she ask what type of dog she should get? She just wanted to know how people reacted to the loss of their pups.

“So, why are you now throwing a fit when someone else agrees with you?”

Was this comment really necessary?? Can we not just answer the question she asked and move on? She did not ask for judgment.

“This is what fans the fires and keeps things negative!”

Are you serious? We are fanning the fires?! Come on… I’m sorry, but you have done nothing but fan the fire. Let the woman grieve and have her question answered without the judgment.

If she had asked; “What type of dog should I get?” or something similar, I could understand the responses. Can you not put yourself in her shoes and understand what she is going through? I hope you are able to see what you could be doing to the poor woman, and give her a break.

I don’t think that I was slamming her in any way. I posted on this tread after reading about how she was not going to get a small Yorkie again (I know though if and when I do decide I am going to go for a larger one. 4.8-5lbs is too small especially how fragile she was. ) I was just thinking that maybe a miniature Bull Terrier as a playmate would be a good idea because they are a hardy little dog. So I think that you must have misunderstood were I was coming from . I also left her a message on her visitor page saying that her story of how she felt moved me. I think that sometimes it is hard to know what a person’s true feelings are by just reading what they have posted. And in at least my case you got it wrong.
