Thank you for your responses. The male I am considering is housebroken and socialized. I am not sure if he is kept in the house or in a kennel though. The posting regarding if he is marking is a very important. I had a friend whose male was bad at doing this. I am sure my male would be sure to repeat the action and leave his mark. This will need to be something to seriously consider. Maybe I should consider going with a female instead.
