That is one of the heartbreak questions breeders have to answer from time to time...it takes a strong heart to do this. Would you make the same decision if you knew your bitch had to be spayed and could never breed again but the pups were from an incredible male and were your hopes for the ring? It is very much a Sophie's Choice.
