As far as their right to "pick a puppy".... it is not that you and them planned this to happen and had an agreement before hand that things would be done this way or that way... actually i think what they should owe you is an apology for letting their dog into your property and causing this "accident". But life is not that simple...
and it seems that somewhere along the whole thing you two had an agreement ...
Imagine if they were to get your girl puppy??? another accidental breeding between father and daughter would be certain.... the outcome may not be as pleasant as the plan...
Then if they get the boy, less worry on that area, but still, ... what other type of accidents they are looking for?
And if she eventually gets another female somewhere else.. yes... she will be having litters...
Again... i recognize your tight spot... and i am sure you will have to make some hard decisions.
I can not speak for others, but you will have my support whatever you decide..
