I was hoping there would be more responses to help us out. I remember reading here before about ear pulling but can't find the threads now. But yes, there is ear powder you can buy at petco, etc. Uni's ears aren't that waxy so I can just do it by hand, but if your pup's ear have a lot of wax, you can't get a good grip, and that's what the powder is for.
I just pulled about 5-10 hairs at a time. Uni's hairs are very thin, I don't think it bothered her much.
