All:
Well it has been a week plus since the untimely, unexplained, death of our 19 month old female Yorkie. I and my wife want to thank this forum and the moderators for your suggestions and prayers. We did not often post here, but we would check in from time to time and perform searches for information about raising Yorkies. Our other yorkie (Buster) has adjusted very well to the sudden loss of his sister. He was not eating to well for the first couple of days, but his appetite returned quickly, as well as his usual playfullness. Our five year old Maine Coon cat (Tiger) has stepped up to the plate and is alot more playful with Buster than before, so he still has a playmate.
After prayer and reflection, we have decided not to acquire another Yorkie at this time. Our first impulse was to run right out and get another dog, but we need to let some time pass. We'll see how it goes.
Again, thanks to all.
