Probably not what you want to hear but I had the "puppy blues" when Ellie was a couple months old and didn't know if I could keep up with everything. That soon went away and all was okay. Today, 8 years later, I have it again.
There are times when I can't stand being away from her for even 5 minutes but today she got very aggressive towards me (not uncommon) and it is always a concern when she will do it to someone else. She also has potty training and extensive health issues along with uncontrollable barking at times and tons of dietary restrictions. Some dogs are just not easy. I love her to pieces but it does get overwhelming at times and forget doggy daycare and boarding just anywhere with all of her problems... She comes on vacay with us. I like it but it does mean no break for me.
Socialize your puppy like crazy and hope there are no health problems and all should be fine.
