No, I would not go to petco. I had an older Cocker Spaniel and I never found a good grooming place until his last hair cut before he died. At least I have a good place for Scruffs now. Anyways, I took him to Petco and he was so terrified they shaved all his warts so they bled and it was a terrible job. Plus they left him with a moehawk. Every Petco is different though I'm sure there are some good groomers there. They are a good groomer if they give you the option to stay and watch, if they don't keep them in cages for drying and if they let them run around, and if the hair cut turns out good of course.
