I have witnessed ivy's destroy a brick wall and a stone tiled roof, make sure that it dos not grow through fences and don't let the suckers take a grip on the wall | This one's just a house plant. My thumb's not green enough to do much more than plain old ivy (& I guess I'm not doing too well with that).
