Here in Ca it depends in the county. Some make you get the license at the same time you get the rabies. Others make you get the rabies and them take proof to where you can get a license. You can be fined if you are out and about without it and most dog parks have rules that they must be licensed. (ours does) Where my mom lives they go down the streets checking the houses and if your dogs are not licensed you must pay for it or get a fine. |
