WOW-You pretty much just described my 7 mo. old Sophie. She get ahold of paper..chews it to shreds..ants, I hate the thought of those live ants crawling around in her ugh
. I always hope this too shall "pass". I have probably spent hours by now chasing her to retrieve some object. I too have broken the rules occasionally to get a paper clip that fell on floor by giving her a treat instead. Sophie is not aggressive. If and when I eventually catch up to her she gives it up. She used to always come when called (always had a treat for her) but now sometimes she just looks at me as if to say "um-I don't think so
." Hopefully she will outgrow this challenging stage soon. She is a good and loving puppy dog most of the time

I had her spayed at 5 months and had her 3 remaining baby teeth pulled at the same time because her permanent teeth were coming in crowded.
