I'm by no means trying to be rude, but if puppies don't bark at people then why does my 11 week old bark at people ( I had some visitors from upstairs in my building that wanted to see him) he also barks at me when I come to his cage to let him out. And my point that I was trying to make is you never know what could happen. I have seen so many accidents that could have been prevented but things were innocently overlooked. Who is to say that the dog would not jump? You don't know, I don't know. It is better to safe than sorry. I am sure alot of people would agree.
