It might work out okay, b/c we plan on keeping the girl, and my neighbor really wanted the girl. She hinted that she might not be interested in the boy, until her dh changed his mind. If she takes the money, she can get the girl she wants. She just needs to get this across to her husband. She settled for the boy she has now, and if she keeps ours, she will never get the girl she wants.

So, I can only hope it works out for everyone.
Quit beating yourself up...you are now taking the puppies welfare to heart.
