I only know what I've read on this subject but I think you're supposed to check the anal glands and get them a better food with more fiber maybe. So that they can drain their own little glands when they go poop. Although I must say, I've seen dogs do the hiney drag and it kinda cracks me up. I have no idea why that is lol.
