I have to tell you that it is SOOOOOO IMPORTANT to stay calm. If you get to excited or nervous or stressed around her, she will pick up on it and it could cause her to kill her pups. Even if there is a cuase to panic, don't do it around her. Keep your voice calm, the room warm, and have a vet on hand knowing this is your/her first litter. If a pup gets stuck in the birth canal, DO NOT PULL IT OUT....work with her contractions and only help pull when she pushes. |
