Of course ideally I would love for mine to go outside. Of course some go out on a leash if I am training one for show but other than that they stay indoors. We build a room that goes across the back of the house and it has 6 huge windows so they can get up on a low bench and watch outside and bark at the cats and other critters. Also, many of them lay on the back of the couch that is in front of two big windows and they sun themselves and in the kitchen there are two big window that let in lots of sunshine in the afternoon. I see them in there sunning themselves often. When we first moved here we had a small fenced area and I would let everyone out and they would eat things they shouldn't and come in and get sick. Plus being way out in country we have lots of fire ants and snakes to worry about. A huge tree fell during the hurricane last year and took out a large part of back yard fence so we have to rebuild it now. |
