Yes, I have a Yorkie that is over 7 pounds. She is almost 10 pounds also. I had never
bought a dog before either, I did the same as you, a bought her from the paper. I have
also been told she is so "big". I don't mind, because she is beautiful, she has a healthy
coat. Today I was around 3 other Yorkies that were so much smaller than her, but
everyone that was there, stopped to tell me how pretty she was. They never mentioned how pretty the smaller ones were. Their coat looked like wire, and they
didn't look healthy. I am not saying all small Yorkies look bad, because I have seen
some that are beautiful, I just think size doesn't matter unless you plan to show your
Yorkie. I just wanted my Yorkie, to love and spoil.
