If for some reason you suspect Cushing's, as others have mentioned - the screening test (which can rule it OUT, but not definitively diagnose it - but this is the first step) is a Urine cortisol-creatinine test - the urine must be collected at home, at a stress free time. If this test shows high cortisol - then you have to move on to an ACTH or LDDS test, or....like my Wylie - a special Adrenal Panel from the U of Tenn., but that's for a more complicated case.
