Like the above poster has already said...females will mark as well. If your new little guy is peeing inside she is going to go and mark over it showing it is HER territory. Sadie was 2 yrs old when we brought Lillie home...Lillie was, and still is, FULL of energy! It took MONTHS for Sadie to warm up to Lillie. Lillie would run around like a little maniac and Sadie would stand there and watch her. Sadie would take a toy from Lillie then go hide it under a pillow...I too, felt really bad for Sadie when Lillie came to live with us....I NEVER thought about giving her back to the breeder but, it broke my heart when I would watch Sadie....You could see the hurt in her little face...After several months Sadie started to like her new fursister...give it time...I know it's not easy but it will get better....trust me!
