I try to be a good parent and teach my 3 sons values like compassion and kindness. My oldest son is 18 now but when he went to kindergarten winter came and the snow fell hard. When I drove up to the pick up line to get him after school one snowy day, he was standing there in his t-shirt without his new snow coat. I said, "OMG Garrett, where is your coat? It's freezing out here!!!" He said, "I gave it to Steven because he didn't have one. I told him I had another one at home so he could have my new one." Needless to say I bawled all the way home. He is always doing things like that, to this day. All my boys are so thoughtful, they make me very proud to be their mom.
Good post, I have 3 sons also and try to teach them the right thing to do. When my son held open the door for a woman in a wheelchair, I was so proud and happy.
I try to do something nice for someone everyday, we all should.
It absolutely blows my mind how nobody helped you But I highly believe in Karma and one day the people who didn't help will need help, I just hope they are helped.
