If they are crying, I would think it's either they are too warm or too cold or they are hungy. Although I have heard of other things like gas or similar problems. Zoe did not leave her puppies for the first week other then to go potty and to eat, I had to hand feed her in her bed with the babies. I also offered her water too in bed. I don't think you can spoil them too much right now. Also, are you taking her temperature every day? I think you should still be doing that as that can often be the first sign of some other problem ie retained placentas.
Good luck! Hope everything is ok!
So far the little guy has gained 0.3 ozs today. He seems to be eating quite often now, his sister is somewhat of a bully and pushes her way but she seems to be backing down some.

She had her POP shot, I thought that got rid of anything in case she didn't eat both placentas. The Vet gave her that and an antibotic but I will continue to take her temp. Can you please tell me the normal range again.

If I feed her the water, she does take it and I agree with you, they can never be to spoiled during this time. This is her 4th litter, the other 3 she lived with her previous owners, we have only had her for a week so although she has taken to me and my daughter its still new.

She likes for me to come and sit up in the bedroom with her.
