I heard back from the vet today and his tests came back negative for Autoimmune Diseases. I am soooo relieved. The vet thinks that it is most likely an infection since he seems to be responding to the antibiotics. And, his decrease in appetite is probably from the antibiotics and as long as he's eating something and not vomiting then we will continue with the medicine. I am so relieved that he seems to be turning the corner and doesn't have a life-long illness of any sort.
