The daycare actually uses security cameras to provide the data stream for the webcams. I do love being able to look in on them during the day.
The feed from the daycare just requires some Active X controls to be set up in your IE browser - not much luck getting it to work with Firefox since it doesn't have Active X (that is NOT the technical way to explain it, heh).
I don't know about setting one up at home though. I am pretty sure I have read where someone here has done that...that sure would be neat!
