I agree it sounds like something brought back memories of her past, poor thing. Hopefully whatever this is will pass and Lane will be back to normal soon. Can you spritz the areas she seems afraid of with a scent familiar and reassuring to her, like a bit of your shampoo watered down or the laundry soap you wash your clothes in? Maybe it's the scent of the exterminator himself, not the pesticide she is afraid of. |
Boy, do I wish she could talk! Thanks for the suggestions - she is the MOST afraid of our master bath, but the pacing is happening all over our place. I assume the exterminators spray all around the perimeter, so maybe I could just go over the entire thing.
