I think that in our society that many people think its none of my business. I think it was on Date Line or some type of show like that where they had actors play out different distress situations from a child being lost to a woman being pushed around. Most of the time people just did not want to get involved. You said that other people saw you hurt but no one came to see if you were ok . We talked about situations like that in Soc class it seems that a lot of times if there is more than one person around in a time of need then the less likely they will feel that they will have to help. They can push it off on the others thinking that someone else will do it. Our society has changed and I don’t know if it is out of fear or indifference but I do know that we all need to show compassion.
