When we got him at 7 weeks he weighed in at 1Kg050gms = 2,31 1bs. Now he is at 10 weeks 1Kg300gms = 2,861 1bs.
Our fella seems a bit bigger than most on here  ! For a pup, he gets tons of excercise(indoors of course), pure water (bottled) and no other food than his Orijen, broken up into smaller bits than comes bagged. Last Friday at vets she was delighted with him  . Could European dogs be bigger than our American Cousins?  |
Yorkies come in all sizes, some are bigger, some are smaller! I am sure theres tiny tiny ones out in Europe! just under 3 lbs right now isn't bad, it is much easier to care for one if they are a little bigger.
I also recommend trimming the hair on his bottom! We completely shave Stormy's bottom and she doesn't have any issues. Before she would get some stuff and you could tell it was embarassing or uncomfortable!
My moms yorkie will move her tail stubby to the side and bark at her to wash her bum lol
