This would be such a tough decision to make. I'm sorry you're having to deal with it.
The whole issue hits close to home because a friend's home was broken into last week and her elderly, ill shih tzu was stolen. Brenda always takes Betsy everywhere with her, even to work, but on that day she had a doctor's appointment so Betsy was at home alone.
I'm sure you and the twins will make it through the next month just fine, but I will keep you all in my prayers.
