I've notice on threads like these regarding pricing that often it varies greatly from state to state and sometimes even regions within each state. That may very well be the case. Plus, the higher priced one may come with pre-op bloodwork , etc. I live in a small town in Pa. and Sophie's spay, 4 baby teeth pulled, all pre-op bloodwork plus two "optional" pre-op tests, her lyme shot, Intercepter and Frontline plus came to around $500. Every penny was well spent as she did well, I loved the Vet and she was well taken care of.
