The Lil Jacks treats are the best; they're virtually the only other food besides her Royal Canin that Stella will eat. Since they're soft and fairly big for a 4lb dog, I rip them up into two or three pieces and give them to Stella (5 months old) that way, since she doesn't have all her adult teeth yet and it takes her a while to chew a whole one. Since I rip them up, we're still on the same little treat bag almost two months later...

We're getting close to being potty trained, but she's very picky about her puppy pad, so it's difficult. Sometimes if she's already done a #1 on it, she won't use it again, and instead will pee or poop on the floor right next to her puppy pad. Or, if it's overnight and she has to go, she'll rip up her puppy pad, move it, and then pee on the floor where her puppy pad was. So I've been trying to take her for walks more often, with a little success, but she gets nervous on walks because for whatever reason she's scared to death of the sound that air conditioner compressors make when they turn on. Since we live in Florida, that's kinda inevitable when we're walking around houses. Also, because she's nervous, she won't eat a treat on our walks when I offer her one for doing her business outside. But, every day seems to get a little better, and I'm mostly just thankful she's realized that the whole house isn't a toilet, and instead will confine any accidents to "her spot" in the hallway.
