I am so sorry you had a bad experience! I kenneled my basset once and when I went to pick her up she urinated like 5 times before I got her to the car (and the first time was a huge puddle) in addition, she was covered in fleas. They had these big signs all over about how if they saw a flea on your dog they would treat with capstar, obviously they didn't pay enough attention to treat any dog with capstar though. Since that time, I have always found somone to dog sit.
