My vet told me the surgery for liver shunt was usually not effective. Rather than put my 2 year old through this surgery, he was put down before he began to suffer horribly.

I would like to know how your Yorkies did after their surgery? Did it restore them to health?

I sickens me to think I could have saved my baby.
