I am down the jersey shore for the summer.Maggie(now just under 2yrs old and 3 1/2 lbs) has always loved all kind of dogs and people. We do lots of walking here. Yesterday morning on our normal walk on the beach Maggie was trampled by a excited lab pup who just wanted to play. She was not hurt in anyway. She was yelping like i have never heard before. I carried her most of the way home with her little heart pounding!!
Maggie still does not want to walk past another dog and is wary of people too. I have to help her get past this.
ANY SUGGESTIONS WILL HELP....
I am thinking i need to keep walking her and calmly and address each situation until she feels safe again?
