It's been years since I had a yard sale but it's time to clean out the closets. I'm having an issue though...I don't know how to price things! We're going to be having a wide variety of house hold, antiques, clothing, shoes, purses, tools and furniture. If I advertise name brands and antiques will people still get here and expect to see yard sale prices? I see COACH and Dooney purses on here all the time for anywhere from $20.00 to $100.00 or so...is that o.k. for a nice purse on a yard sale too? What about jeans? I have several pair of Tommy, CK, Silver, Harley Davidson and some others. What's the average price for them at yard sales now? Should I advertise as a yard sale...estate sale or moving sale? I'm thinking estate or moving would give people a different expectation on pricing...what do you think?
