I HAD THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM --- But I found out the hard way that yorkies come in all different sizes. I got my first yorkie and she was only 6 pounds. Then I got a little boy who grew to be close to 11 pounds. I thought he wasn't a yorkie but found out they can be all different sizes - the best way to find out there size is looking at the parents - and even then it's not 100% accurate.
