I currently have 3 Yorkies, I think Eye Tearing is an Inherited Trait? Artie my only male "Tears" all the time, Abigail does Not......but their daughter Pom Pom does. The other 2 puppies they had (now 3 yrs. old) do NOT Tear-up at all. I make sure I wash their Eyes out every morning w/a warm wash cloth and I am constantly checking their eyes for dirt and hair that might get caught in their eyes b/c I know they are very sensitive.
